1. В Стим можно добавить ссылку на игру вне Стима.
2. Есть всякие опенсорсные штуки, которые легко ставятся, если нужно что-то нестандартное. GlosSI или там какой-нить UWPHook.
Умельцы докрутят всё для нового контроллера, я уверен.
От "игрожура с 20-летним стажем" ожидал большего погружения в тему, всё же, с ссылками в статье и т.п.

I adore the Steam Controller, but getting non-Steam games to work with it is a faff and a half (and sometimes doesn't appear possible at all). If you want something plug-and-play that works across all PC launchers this isn't it, but for Steam-only players it's great. My review:

@PalmyrPar Nobody really cared when the steam deck launched. It took 2 years for people to realize it was worth it and they all ganged up for the OLED launch. I was there, fighting the purchase button to get mine. The same thing happened. Page crashed and it sold out in like 35 minutes

One of the things that is very charming but also frustrating about Valve is that they appear mostly unaware that they’re a prestige-brand that’s gonna have demand out the ass for nearly anything they make.

Steam Controller ran out faster than we anticipated, and we hate that not everyone who wanted one was able to get it. We’re working on getting more in stock and will have an update on expected timeline soon.

@zohar_engineer @PalmyrPar they dont need manpower. Not everything needs a bloated bureaucracy and 100000 regulations to work. Valve have always been "hands-off" approach and that is one of the reasons why people mostly love and respect valve.

@PalmyrPar Valve acts like they're still just a company full of super genius programmers but also are extremely invested in having 3 different esports competitive games but have repeatedly shown they don't have the manpower to manage that many at once.
