@tonyjameson I’ve got an idea. I think, as I’m listening to the pod, you need a clip of @RdfTactics saying “I just think it’s disgusting” and play it after each goal with the bastard ball tactic. Made me have to explain to my boss why I had this face

I can’t believe Martin Terrier is starting after the challenge I saw him receive on the weekend.

@Pino_1983 @Mobyhaque1 🤣 you do expect it but there’s some accounts who present themselves as something more. Like this one. Rage baiting is such an weird and odd obsession to have lol

Oh never mind. He just made a poem…“They are Leverkusen, they are never losing, against Arsenal they are cruising” Kmt.

Told my son Arsenal just went 1-0 down. He was only allowed to watch the first half. He goes “ah man, who scored? That Kofane was quite good, only 19 as well” 😭 he’s raised well

@AshtonGgmu I think it’s just a wording thing. Or sometimes we just very reactive to what we see and make conclusions early. How you described de Ligt was what the tweet could’ve done. Other than calling calling him an elite player, but go on to say he can’t pass 5 yards forward

Multiple truths can. But you can still contradict yourself in your wording. Being an elite back 3 CB, you’ll still need to be at least a good defender in 95% of the cases. Say de Ligt is a phenomenal defender but weak ball playing is different. As you don’t need to have ball playing qualities to have phenomenal defending qualities. To be an elite back 3 CB, you should be able to have something defensively as you are a central defender. Otherwise you’d describe him “elite balling playing CB but weak ball winning qualities”. Being a back 3 defender shouldn’t exclude defensive attributes

@RdfTactics I think people forget, nowadays, that multiple truths can coexist and you can rate a certain aspect of a player’s game without rating another aspect. I, for example, will happily say de Ligt is a phenomenal defender… whilst acknowledging that his ball-playing is weak.
