A lot of you are frauds😂. A lot of you “fans” never played the older games, and it shows. Or maybe the DLC practices of 5 made you think it was always that way. None of Itagaki’s DOA games were overly reliant on fan service in the way this new era of Dead or Alive is. He handled sex appeal with class, unlike the current generation where everyone has the same recycled bikinis. The only exceptions are DOA2U and the Xtreme series. The standard DOA2, 3, 4, and Dimensions don’t even really feature bikinis. Additionally, the sex appeal wasn’t forced; it flowed naturally. This user didn’t say anything wrong. I don’t understand how you all interpreted his statement as removing sexualization entirely. He simply asked for balance, just like the golden days that you all love to reminisce about. The old days didn’t have Loli’s, and I feel like we’re eventually going to get a furry type of character😬. So, if fan service is what you prioritize over what is supposed to be the main priority (which is fighting), go play Xtreme.

Here is my list of what I believe #DOA7 should have and not have to be successful. 🤝🏾 • Rollback • Diverse tech. No systems such as "bound" that limits possibilities and creativity. • In game skins, rewards, in game currency purpose, collectible nostalgic items. This generates a interest into the lore and attachment to the characters and game. • Interactive lobby system like DOA4. Encourage community engagement. • Cross-platform. Its 2026 there is no reason we can not do this. DOA negative reputation in the FGC needs this to reach a higher player base and interest. • Online Training mode. Further encourages community engagement and reach. • Revert to less dramatic stage transitions. Past DOAs did this better. DOA6 dolphin dives, Trex impact, etc was a bit much. •Keep the women hot. Focus on "cool" skins. Sexy is still ok but you must balance. It can not be all sexualize or overwhelming sexual or you become that as a product. • Online lobbies at launch, Rank at launch.
