As a Jewish American, this makes me sick to my stomach. Meanwhile many Republicans think it's of bad taste to teach about our racist, anti-semitic past. My ancestors have gone through so much adversity, and simply because of their religious believes and cultural identity, we are still targeted by bigoted individuals and groups. We can't forget about our human history. It's a lesson for the future It's time that the government begins to crack down on these hate groups that spread racism, anti-semitism, sexism and prejudice. It's time to say enough is enough to book banning and education restrictions on teaching about America's past. We have to put a stop to politicians who aim to move us backward and aim to ban education on these topics.
