A woman has made a public appeal for assistance in locating a suspect accused of attempted murder and rape following a violent attack against her. According to the victim, a criminal case has been opened at the Germiston police station after a man allegedly attempted to rape her and stabbed her multiple times in front of a minor when she resisted his advances. She survived the attack and says she believes she narrowly escaped death. The survivor expressed gratitude for being alive, stating that the incident could have resulted in her funeral this past weekend. She added that the trauma inflicted on her children has been severe and continues to affect the family deeply. The suspect is believed to be hiding in Tembisa. The victim has urged members of the public to assist by sharing information and immediately contacting the nearest police station if the suspect is seen. Police investigations are ongoing.
