☎️ When Manchester United call, you don't think twice.

This is tripping me the hell out...

🚨 | Alex Scott, Felix Nmecha, Carlos Baleba and Sander Berge are among the names that #mufc have considered while surveying the market. A third midfielder can be signed. [@TheAthleticFC]

Omar Berrada said towards the end of last season that Manchester United would not allow the transfer market or agents to dictate the club’s strategy. That’s the hallmark of an elite recruitment department. Take today’s reports of a €100m valuation for Moroccan midfielder Ayoub Bouaddi following a strong World Cup. Whether that figure ultimately proves accurate or not, it illustrates how quickly the market can inflate the perceived value of young talents through hype, competition and speculation. Every report adds momentum, and every rumour pushes the price higher. This is exactly why clubs need strong internal valuation models built on profile fit, underlying performance, tactical suitability and historical benchmarks not market noise. Market inflation is one of the biggest distortions in modern football. A transfer fee should reflect a player’s overall ability and long-term value, not simply a purple patch or the latest wave of hype. Based on my recruitment framework, #United achieved a recruitment success rate of over 70% in 2025/26. That suggests the club has started prioritising profile and evidence over headlines. If that discipline continues, the foundation for sustained success is there. Recruitment should be driven by data, profile and long-term planning not emotion or external pressure.

🚨🗣️ Zlatan: "Senne Lammens is overrated."

🔴🇧🇷 Andrey Santos: “I can learn a lot from Bruno Fernandes and from the others as well”. “I can’t to play with Bruno, Cunha, Mainoo, Amad, Dalot, Maguire, everyone”.

Funny how football changes in a few weeks. At the start of the window, City, Spurs and Madrid were throwing money around and some United fans were screaming that INEOS weren’t serious because they refused to pay inflated fees for players like Elliot Anderson, Mateus Fernandes, Sandro Tonali and others. Some of us said walk away if the price doesn’t make sense. Fast forward… United have landed Karl Darlow, Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans for less than what some clubs wanted for a single midfielder. That’s how smart clubs are rebuilt. Discipline beats desperation. #MUFC

It's only in Man Utd fans will hyped up midfielders that relegated and finished 15th etc But when you buy another midfielder that finished top 4 and won a European trophy, it becomes an issue

✨🇦🇷 Julián Álvarez: “We are gonna give everything to make sure Messi wins the World Cup again”. “Every game is a battle for him”.

He isn’t a “marquee” signing, but at £35m he’s an absolute bargain. Credit to INEOS for pulling this one off. The only concern now is that United still need legs in midfield, so INEOS have to deliver one more player with a very specific profile.

Bruno Fernandes has been at Man Utd for 6 years and he's already won Man Utd player of the year more times that Ronaldo did when he was here That should tell you a lot about the calibre of players both of them played with

WHO THE FUCK PUT A 35 MILLION POUND RELEASE CLAUSE ON OUR BEST FUCKING PLAYER?!?!?!?!

Manchester United might have just built the best midfield in the Premier League 👏

Chatting to a Man Utd fan about Tielemans. It appears they're all fuming and think he's not good enough. My head is on mars. One of the worst days of my life and they don't even want him. #AVFC

YOURI TIELEMENS?! DO YOU REALISE HOW MUCH OF AN INSANE SIGNING THAT IS?!

Mainoo and Tielemans can't play midfield together One will have to hold bench when the other starts
