Reagan JROTC

15 August 2025. Reagan JROTC Viper Teams Alpha and Delta are now operational. We are preparing for our first Robotics competition of the season in October.

10 July 2025, 20 JROTC Cadets spent the day saltwater fishing in Corpus. Fish were caught, Legends were born and Lies will be told.

30 April 2025, today I invited Computer Science classes to tour my JROTC STEM Activity Center. We are the only program in the District that has a Flight simulator program, we also compete in CyberPatriot, Arieal Drones, VEX Robotics and Esports.

9 November 2024. Reagan JROTC Viper Team Robotics competed in the CPT Washow's Salute to Veterans Challenge in Belton TX. Both teams show marked improvement each time we compete, especially in the autonomous phase. Delta Team finished 4 and 2 in the Qual round and 1 -1 in final

November 7th 2024. Reagan JROTC Jrs compete in the annual Leadership and Academic Bowls. The Leadership Bowl focuses on the JROTC curriculum where as the Academic Bowl is comprised of SAT type questions.

24 Oct 2024. Reagan JROTC competes in the first Cyber Patriot competition of the season. Due to the addition of our fully operational Activity Center, we can now conduct Cyber Patriot Comps. Build and program VEX Robots and Arieal Drones, practice and compete in Esports comps

19 Oct 2024. Reagan JROTC Viper Teams Robotics competed at Anderson H.S in Austin TX today. This was our first comp of the season. C team led by C/CPT A. Pietsch went 3 and 3 and made it to the Quarter final. Cadet Y. Inan led D team to 5 wins and 2 losses to the semi final

11 October 2024. 35 Cadets from Ronald Reagan Army JROTC attended the Military Medical Career Fair at Fort Sam. Cadets were exposed to a number Military Medical Career fields.

Reagan JROTC Cadets at Texas A&M on 13 September continued. The highlight of the tour was that my Cadets had the opportunity to eat lunch with members of the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets

13 September 2024, Reagan JROTC Cadets Visit the George Bush Museum and the Texas A&M Campus and Corps of Cadets.

7 September 2024. Reagan JROTC Esports team "Viper Team Gamers" conduct weekend Discord Over Watch II practice. We are getting ready for our first in person competition in mid October at Joint Base San Antonio, Kelley Annex.

Reagan JROTC "Viper Flight" Program is off the ground and flying. Select Cadets interested in careers in Aviation are learning basic piloting skills such as takeoff, landing and instrumentation using our three Flight Simulators and STEM pilot Classroom curriculum

2LT Calvin Lu from LEE HS JROTC graduated West Point this past weekend. His former instructor, 1SG Reyes, attended and rendered the "first salute". 2LT Lu graduated summa cum laude and was one of a select few that received their diplomas from POTUS! Congratulations! @NEISD

30 April 2024, VEX Robotics World Championship, Dallas TX day 3. Viper Team Delta, Reagan JROTC, finished the Qualification rounds ranked 6th out of 68 teams in thier Division. Alliance selection went well, we chose the # 7th seed to compete with. Play offs will Start at 1 pm.

28 April 2024. Reagan JROTC Viper Team Robotics Charlie and Delta compete at VEX Robotics World Championship in Dalas Texas (Day 1). 138 JROTC teams from 3 contents will compete over a three day competition. Qualifcation matches and Skills challenges will continue tomorrow.

23 April 2024. Reagan JROTC Viper Team Robotics Charlie and Delta Team are preparing to compete in Dallas this weekend at the VEX Robotics World Championship.

13 April 2024. Reagan JROTC Viper Team Alpha, competed in the 5th Brigade Raider Championship at the NEISD Obstacle Course. The Viper team competed with 22 other teamsin the Mixed Div. We took 1st Place Overall and 1st place in Rope Bridge and O Course and 2nd place in the CCR.

5 April 2024. Reagan JROTC Cadets attend the Texas Air Show STEM Expo on Randolph AFB.

26 March 2024. Reagan JROTC Viper Team Archery, competed at the NASP Texas State Archery Championship in Belton TX. We had 22 Cadets engage targets at 10 and 15 meters.
