@ESB36121 Comey’s lawyers should move for disclosure of the instructions to the grand jury. The indictment is so flimsy on its face that it requires discovery as to whether grand jurors were properly instructed on the law.

@KGreenberg_ @citizenjeff The DOJ is going to exclude all but the publicly known evidence in the indictment. Not going to show their hand until as late as possible in the discovery process. Why would they do otherwise?

Including facts beyond the basic charges (a speaking indictment) isn’t required. However, in cases of great public interest, speaking indictments are the norm because prosecutors want to inform the defendant and the public about the defendant’s criminal conduct. Blanche is saying there’s more to the case than what DOJ said in the Indictment, but we’re not going to tell you about it. That’s unheard of in a case as serious and important for the public to understand as this one - where DOJ has charged a former FBI Director with making a death threat to the POTUS.

@KGreenberg_ I suspect the DOJ has no additional evidence, but I don't buy that all evidence is always in the indictment. It's certainly not required, and withholding some of it keeps the other side guessing, which makes it harder to prepare a defense. No?

Wrong on multiple counts: first, it’s wild to claim the left are the ones obsessed with Israel when Zionist lawmakers and allies are constantly passing pro-Israel speech codes, criminalizing dissent, authorizing weapons shipments and flooding elections with pro-Israel money.
