@RockintheBurrbs so I live on the Main Line and I pay my county taxes to Delaware County. Have I been sending them to the wrong place? Am I going to get in trouble?

Meet the Delaware County family that went viral on social media for their rare view overlooking the PGA Championship at Aronimink Golf Club.
As thousands of fans descend on Aronimink, the family is preparing for a busy weekend in its own backyard after building a raised viewing platform.
Now, the family is welcoming guests to watch players approach the first green and putt out without leaving the property.

@CBSPhiladelphia 😂 Delco - that house is about 2 miles from Chester County.

@VillyDonovan @bydylanjohnson @PhillyInquirer The construction is all on their campuses and isn’t disruptive to the community at all it’s great
just saying the idea the radnor never lets Villanova do anything is just false
English

@RealBrianMartin @bydylanjohnson @PhillyInquirer Hey - I love the area. Would hate that construction myself. But it’s a college town.
English

A residential block in Tredyffrin Township is already concerned with Villanova students renting in its neighborhood, and is worried it will get worse with Villanova’s new Cabrini Campus.

@VillyDonovan @bydylanjohnson @PhillyInquirer There’s currently $1 billion worth of construction projects going on in Radnor Township by Villanova right now sucks Villanova alumni think the town I live are “idiots”
English

@RealBrianMartin @bydylanjohnson @PhillyInquirer World’s smallest violin for them. Couldn’t care less. The mouth drooling townies near Villanova have caused plenty of problems for the University - vetoing Greek housing (would save them a lot of their current issues), denying a football stadium, etc.
They are idiots.
English

@VillyDonovan @bydylanjohnson @PhillyInquirer The most recent proposed football stadium I believe was in 1991. Maybe it’s time to turn the Paige?
Around that same time, the property where the Radner house is and another large property touching Villanova sold, which Villanova passed on purchasing. If we’re going back 30 yrs
English

@VillyDonovan @bydylanjohnson @PhillyInquirer The real issue here is that this particular street is an a township that doesn’t have student housing ordinance the way randor and LM do because that township has no colleges in it
English

@RealBrianMartin @bydylanjohnson @PhillyInquirer Yes, shockingly, there is nuance. 3 miles is different than 20. Less than 6 years ago, Villanova didn’t guarantee on-campus housing for their upperclassmen. Obviously those students will have to live off campus.
English

@VillyDonovan @bydylanjohnson @PhillyInquirer What’s the radius in living near Villanova that you shouldn’t have moved there because there’s a college if 3 miles for you is acceptable is it 10? Is it 25 do people in New Jersey? Have to think they shouldn’t have lived in our Villanova.
English

@VillyDonovan @bydylanjohnson @PhillyInquirer Villanova by about 10 years, but the caveat being they didn’t have students living on campus prior to the golf course being open so none of the students live there so they can’t complain about the golf course or the town
English

@VillyDonovan @bydylanjohnson @PhillyInquirer This street is about 3 miles away from Villanova’s campus next to a golf course so it’s not as if these people moved onto a college street
English

@bydylanjohnson @PhillyInquirer Someone needs to explain to those really smart people that they shouldn’t have moved to a college town if they didn’t want college activity.
