many people don't realize WHO is buying all of these high end Pokemon and One Piece cards, but here is the answer "some of the biggest buyers for high end TCG cards right now are crypto repack / gacha companies, and institutions like GameStop who are filling their mystery packs with insane cards so they can make money. all of these repack companies need huge chase cards so people continue to buy their packs. that's one of the main reasons why cards have continued to go up in value over the past few years"
