. I no longer crave caffeine (I've not had any since October 22). The large amount of caffeine I had on the 22nd consisted of at least one cup of tea and approximately three strong cups of instant coffee. At times during this ordeal, I was dizzy, wobbly, and nauseated.

. On October 22, I ingested much more caffeine than usual. In the wee morning hours of October 23, I woke up with chills. I developed a fever. I endured severe headaches and fatigue between then and now. I now have an aversion to salty foods. What might this aversion mean?

. What are the origins of the traditions pertaining to Christmas trees? Trees cleanse the air that people breathe. Trees provide shelter and food for many animals. Can Earth's fragile ecosystems withstand an annual harvest of millions of trees? I worry about air pollution.

. Approximately two years ago, I decided to stop using the word "bullshit" in ways that connote negativity. I now recognize the personhood of all individuals (including non-humans). "Bullshit" instills a sense of negativity about bulls (who are bovine people). I'm evolving.

. Today I'm observing the seventh birthday of Dusty Miller Duvall; she's named after the dusty miller flower. I'm not sure when Dusty was born; she was a kitten in 2016 when she started visiting the back porch. In recent days, I've been teaching Dusty new-to-her words.
