Tesla already has real self-driving cars on the road today (millions of miles of data, actual FSD deployment, robotaxi plans in motion). China has… faster battery charging. One side is solving autonomy and turning vehicles into productive assets. The other side turned the gas station into a slightly quicker electrical outlet and called it innovation. The US didn’t lose the technology race. We’re just playing a higher-stakes game — software-defined vehicles and AI — while China is still optimizing the hardware layer we mastered 15 years ago. When one country pushes the frontier of intelligence and the other pushes marginal improvements in charging speed, who is actually falling behind?

How did American manufacturers fall behind so quickly with a technology they created less than 15 years ago.

The 2-week ceasefire is being violated right now by the Iranian-Nazi regime.  Missiles are being fired into Israel and perhaps other countries in the region.  Are they able to defend themselves? We have the right man as president, and I bet he's furious about this.  I don't personally know.  But this will be the question throughout -- that is, do we expect the Iranian regime to honor a deal, how will we monitor it, and how will we enforce it.  These will all be very difficult issues to resolve.
