loving this new X update.. timeline finally full of the people I actually follow. all crypto and NFTs again, as it should be.

Many of you probably wondered what kept me on the sidelines these past months.. the answer is simple: fear of failure. thank god I've been someone who rarely dealt with failure.. successful businesses, awards, etc. but this past year everything that could go wrong, went wrong.. and it hit some of my beloved web3 projects at the same time. I always knew a project could fail.. these were big bets after all. but I never imagined the collapse would come all at once. you diversify so you have something to lean on when things go wrong.. instead it felt like every leg of the table got cut off at the same time. Wengoods got stuck with the Nova import.. months of product held at US customs, the big part of the project money frozen, zero answers. and beyond having no product to sell, the project's expenses are huge and there's no treasury to lean on.. the mint got interrupted, so we've been carrying everything with no war chest. NFTVenues took the hit from Argentina's economic crisis, which crushed bars and restaurants.. the exact businesses behind the project. several venues lost capital, and I've been covering those losses out of my own pocket to keep them standing. And then there's the frustration.. six years of trying to do everything right, only to end up with the same result as the ones who came to fill their pockets and never even tried. frustrating.. painful and sad. the worst part wasn't the hit itself.. the worst part was feeling like I was letting down so many people who trusted my ideas and my vision of a web3 with real utility. so I went inward. thought I had to carry this alone.. even things that weren't even up to me. I was surprised by how many people reached out in my DMs, called me, lent me their ear and their time.. gave me those words of strength I needed. holders and founders. things are far from resolved. still pushing through a rough year.. but with renewed energy knowing that even in the worst case scenario you're all here for me web3 people is my family
