The grind worked. But it also costs more than people realise... I've always been an advocate for working hard and pushing for goals. But ever since I stopped living chronically online, my physical and mental health have improved dramatically. I find myself valuing life so much more and working on myself every single day. I spent 8 years of my life building myself up on social media and I'm grateful to myself for everything I've done. I wouldn't have the life I do now if I didn't work so hard. However, that also came its fair share of anxiety, depression and tonnes of self doubt. Way more than what I've ever shared online and I'm okay with being honest about that now. When I was a full-time streamer/creator, my mentality was grind 24/7. If I wasn't working hard, then someone else was and that was my mentality through out. This was a blessing and a curse. My career took off and I will always be thankful for it but I never gave myself balance. I could have likely still had the same results (maybe it would have taken longer), but I could have been smarter with my choices and time allocation. Simple message to anyone still reading: Take time to enjoy just living. Be grateful for everything you've got and manage your time to not live online all day, everyday. An effective method for this is turn your notifications off and just check things when you actually need to. Life passes so quick and before you know it you ask yourself where the last X years have gone. Use your time wisely. Thanks for reading ❤️
