I am very hopeful that a resolution will be happening soon on one of our local cold cases. At this time, I’m not at liberty to say until things are confirmed.

Advocates need to work together to make sure families have a voice! Without their voice, their loved ones will never receive the justice they deserve.

Suwannee Valley Unsolved continues to help families in North Florida stay connected to advocacy. Families affected by an unspeakable, unanswered tragedy deserve ALL the help they can get, with victim advocates being part of the process. @LCFlaPD

The Map is 3 years old today. Currently, there are 23, 827 people on the map. All of the NamUs #Unidentified have been placed on the map. I am more than halfway through adding all of the #Missing 4 missing/unidentified persons cases have been resolved because of the map and I’ve submitted well over 100 for comparisons. The map has provided numerous law enforcement agencies new leads to follow. Two unresolved “cold cases” in particular have been reinvigorated as a result. With insight from family and LE, one can quickly develop a list of possibles, providing a small measure of hope that a missing loved one might be recovered. I’m proud to announce that I am a Victim Services Practitioner within the State of Florida, and am leading @SuwValUnsolved as such. Thank you all for putting your trust in me over the years as I’ve become a local voice for families affected by cold cases!

I take it personally when nonprofits who promise to help organizations like ours take back their word and claim they are having a staffing shortage, and yet do something totally different for clout. This is why mainstream “true crime” organizations are a problem. #keepitlocal
