I normally try to stay positive, but I could really use some prayers right now. As some of you know, a few days ago I went to an orthopedic urgent care because of my back. While I was there, I found out that the arthritis in my hip is so severe that I am at risk of it breaking at any moment. I now have to use a walker, stay off it as much as possible, and begin the process of getting a hip replacement as soon as I can. Right now, I am basically confined to my apartment, and I will be honest, it has been very demoralizing and depressing. Losing your mobility and independence so suddenly is difficult to process. My 51st birthday is this Friday, and it has me feeling down knowing I will likely spend it confined to my apartment. I am asking for prayers for healing, strength, peace, and a clear path forward with the doctors and surgery. God woke me up today so I am blessed and I know God is still with me, even in this difficult season. I am trying to remind myself that this is a chapter, not the end of my story. “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18

@KimbleKimble6 @DanishVikingGA I was told I needed surgery 5 years ago but they couldn’t do it because of my weight. You can see a massive feline when comparing the x-rays.

@RealJoeElliott1 @DanishVikingGA At 54, was told the same risk of spontaneous hip fracture due to osteoporosis. They didn’t say to get surgery, still ok 4 yrs later. Is there a potential for wait and see?

I may piss a few of you off by posting this. We can handle it one of two ways: discuss it like adults or you can unfriend me. Your choice. You have your opinion and I have mine. Before anyone gets their panties in a wad, I add that my ancestors came here from other countries, as did most everyone else's ancestors, and they learned the language and worked and never once did I hear any of them trash America. They became citizens, were proud to be one and some served in the military! I am nice to everyone and I have no problem with anyone coming here and making a good life for themselves and their family, BUT if you are coming here and expect us to become what you just came from, then that’s not happening! Return and work on your country and make it better where you can be proud to live in it. Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of AMERICA, as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks. “IMMIGRANTS, NOT AMERICANS, MUST ASSIMILATE” Take it or leave it. I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks, we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Americans. This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom. We speak ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, (dirty knees, look at these 🤣🤣) Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society, learn the language. Most Americans believe in God. This is not some Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and it is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God and Jesus offend you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God and Jesus are part of our "culture." This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE. But once you are done complaining and whining about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, our Constitution, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great AMERICAN freedom - "THE RIGHT TO LEAVE". If you aren't happy here, then LEAVE. We the People didn't force you to come here. NOTE: IF we circulate this among ourselves, WE will find the courage to start speaking and voicing the same truths. My new wheels. 🤦🏼‍♂️ Hurt my back about a week and a half ago and it progressively got worse and I was in the worst pain I’ve ever felt. Went to the orthopedic urgent care to get checked out. When the doctor looked at my X-Ray and looked at my hip with arthritis we had talked about and said it looked absolutely terrible and could literally break at any moment. She compared it to the X-Ray from 5 years ago and said how bad it had deteriorated was crazy. So now I have to use a walker until I can get a hip replacement. So prayers I can get approved for a hip replacement through UC hardship program since I don’t have insurance. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
