There's a saying in baseball: You fire the manager because you can't fire the team (or the owner). Either way, in addition to historically making some very questionable field decisions, Mendoza has to be the sacrificial lamb, if for no other reason than to shake things up in that clubhouse and to appease the fans' demand for "something" to change.

Fire Mendoza for what ? I agree change is needed but this is on one man and his name is David Stearns
