Whenever you speak i will come for you. this is not just about coalition or power — it is about doing what is right. After eight years of a failed government from another region, the right thing was for power to shift to the South. Even though your principal tried to stop it, it happened anyway. Now, let us return to the real issue. Is Tinubu a Southerner? Yes. Is he performing as a good president? No. Should we change Tinubu as president? Yes. Should we replace him with someone from the previous region that did 8 year's in power ? Capital No. Should the South complete its term in producing the president? Yes. Does the South have a credible substitute? Yes. That substitute is a good man who has done it before and can do it again. His track record speaks for him, not just his name. For the unity, progress and wellbeing of our nation, the South must finish its term. His Excellency Peter Obi is the one who should lead this country to the promised land.Nigeria will be OK.

From now on, Every insult against Atiku by Obidients will be reciprocated with the same energy against Peter Obi. We will not accept PO as Atiku’s running mate. Go and run with Kwankwaso in any other party. The ADC ticket will not be handed on a platter; power is taken, not given. The ADC VP slot will not be offered on a platter; it will be fiercely competitive. The Coalition is bigger than any one man’s ambition.

APC is reacting to the use of “Operation Wetie” by Seyi Makinde because deep down they know they are pushing Nigerians towards just that and they hate that Seyi Makinde is pointing it out. I will explain. “Operation Wetie” was a dark chapter in Nigeria’s history, particularly in Ibadan and the old Western Region in the 1960s. The phrase comes from Yoruba, “wẹ̀ tí e”, meaning “pour petrol on it.” And that’s exactly what happened. During a bitter political crisis involving the Action Group, factions loyal to Obafemi Awolowo and Samuel Ladoke Akintola clashed after disputed elections. What followed was mayhem: Homes burned Political opponents attacked Law and order broke down Violence became a political tool It got so bad that it helped trigger the 1966 Nigerian military coup, and Nigeria’s long detour into military rule. So why would Seyi reference “Operation Wetie” at the opposition summit? He is simply trying to remind the APC of what happens when: 1. People lose faith in electoral integrity 2. Political actors push systems to the breaking point 3. Institutions meant to be neutral are seen as compromised. History shows that when citizens begin to believe that outcomes are predetermined, tensions rise, and bad actors can exploit that environment. Have you listened to how apc people brag online? They tell you the result has already been written. They ask you if you couldn't stop Bola when he wasn't president, how would you stop him now that he is president. They tell you that Bola is no Jonathan. There are growing concerns in some quarters about the independence of key institutions, including Independent National Electoral Commission. Allegations and rumors, like those surrounding the appointment of Amupitan, are too serious to be ignored. Yet Amupitan hasn't resigned. Institutions should be accountable to the people but INEC is not yielding and Bola is yet to way a word about it; reinforcing the belief that he intends to snatch it, grab it and run with it. Seyi is invoking “Operation Wetie” as a reminder of how quickly things can spiral when trust in the system collapses and Nigeria cannot afford a repeat of that era. If anything, this moment calls for transparency from leadership and vigilance from citizens. Bola still has a lot of time to do the right thing. He has 30 governors, he is incumbent so he can showcase why he should be reelected, then he should give the people a free and fair election then let the best man win. Othwrwise, history shows it’s very hard to control what comes next.

INCITING VIOLENCE - GOVERNOR MAKINDE, YOU ARE UNWORTHY OF THE OFFICE YOU OCCUPY While addressing a summit of opposition political parties in Ibadan, yesterday, Saturday, April 25, 2026, Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo state invoked the bloody history of “Operation Wetie” to incite Nigerians to violence over his baseless and senseless allegation of the country’s descent into a one party state. The All Progressives Congress (APC) categorically condemns Governor Makinde’s @seyimakinde incitement as reckless, and a clear and present threat to peace and national security. It is particularly disturbing for a sitting Governor who bears constitutional responsibility as the Chief Security Officer of his state to conjure up one of the darkest episodes of political violence in Nigeria’s history to threaten violence against the people and government of Nigeria. By his incitement to violence, Makinde has showed himself to be unworthy of the high office of Governor that he occupies.

Lol. We left Abuja for Lagos on Friday afternoon, got into a few activities, and didn’t retire to the hotel until about 1am. By 4am, we were up again, prepping, and on the road to Ibadan by 6am. We got to the airport to receive other party leaders, only to be told they hadn’t arrived yet. So we drove around town, interacted with some young people at the stadium, and on our way back to the venue, we were held up by a crowd of teeming supporters. Despite that, we still arrived before everyone else. HE did his registration, went around interacting with every single person at the venue, greeted those who hadn’t been allowed in yet and pleaded on their behalf for access. He then called other party leaders to come to the venue. We have a principled leader who has respect for people and their time. This is one thing the Nigerian system and her people have not had in the longest. A leader who values, respects and treats the people with dignity. With Peter Obi as president, Nigerian will be OK.

When I was heading to NYSC camp, I had only ₦5,000 with me and nothing in my account. I was really worried about how I would survive the next few weeks. On the day I arrived at the garage to board the bus to Benue, I met a beautiful lady inside the bus. Her name was Semiat. I was busy on my phone when she tapped me and asked if I was also going to camp. I said yes, and she asked if we could be friends. I replied, “Why not?” From that moment, we bonded quickly. She chatted with me like we had known each other for years. The journey continued, and when the bus stopped in Akure, the driver told us to get down, buy food, and ease ourselves because he wouldn’t stop again until we reached Kogi. Everyone got off to buy something to eat, but I stayed back because I had no money, even though I was hungry. To my surprise, Semiat bought food and a Hollandia yoghurt for me. I was completely shocked. Later, when we got to Edo State, she bought me bananas again. We finally arrived in Benue at night. Since it was already late, we couldn’t proceed to the camp. The journey from where the bus dropped us was still about 3–4 hours. The driver said he wouldn’t move again until morning, so everyone had to find a place to sleep. I had made up my mind to sleep inside the bus, but Semiat dragged me and insisted we go to a nearby hotel. I told her, “Let me stay here. I don’t have money for a hotel.” She hissed and said, “Let’s go jare.” We went to the hotel, and she paid for the room. I was completely speechless! She even bought food for me that night. The next day, after arriving at camp, we moved into our hostel, secured our beds, and headed to Mami Market to eat. After eating, we went for verification. I finished mine quickly, but she was told she had been posted to Lagos instead of Benue. Apparently, her boyfriend had helped her with a direct posting. Omoh! I couldn’t hold back my tears. Someone I had known for barely two days was already leaving me. She left camp that same day, and I missed her so much. She was incredibly loving, kind, friendly, and beautiful. I had never met such a kind person before.

So the Chibok School community appealed to Peter Obi for computers, printers, and other basic school resources at Government Secondary School in Chibok. Moved by their request, Peter Obi bought laptops, printers, and planned to make heavy donations for a computer lab, science equipment. He planned to deliver them personally, but the government blocked the visit. Alternative arrangements were also frustrated. You can't provide basic amenities for schools under you and you won't also allow individuals to help these vulnerable children. This govt doesn't actually care about anyone except their personal selfish interest.

Yesterday in Ibadan I had an encounter with someone that made me realise that we have not spoken about the travails we face enough! He was shocked that I was not surprised about how the OAU, Ife event Peter Obi @PeterObi was supposed to attend turned out! I told him it is a normal thing we face. I went on to ask him why does he think Peter Obi usually visits private Nursing schools or those run by missionaries? He didn’t know. I told him because the ones run by government would not allow him to visit or the officials take anything from him. While people were making assumptions that he was being biased in favouring some sections of the country, it was really because they were the ones that will welcome him. I told him about Chibok community. They reached out to me about the Chibok school from which 276 #ChibokGirls were abducted from in 2014 did not have computers. As soon as I told Mr Peter Obi he told me to make arrangement with the school that we will visit Chibok donate computers and printers (which they had not even asked for) and access other needs that they have and take care of them. First we were denied from going. Then Mr Peter Obi suggested we visit the capital and give them or any neighboring state, that was also turned down. The next was bringing the principal and some teachers with students to Abuja. They were not allowed to come. At the end Mr Peter Obi met with some members of the chibok community in Abuja and handed over the computers and printers to them with monetary assistance which he gave. @salakwa1 can provide more details sef! Most of the charity is with coconut head! They have been doing everything to truncate it!

As Obidients, you cannot shame us about it again. We are party prostitutes. The goal is fielding Obi and ensuring he becomes GCFR. We have no business with party loyalty. If we can not use Labour, we will use ADC - if er cannot use ADC, we will use ACCORD.

Dear @PeterObi You are being attacked by this government left, right and center, but you keep quiet. In April 2023, your passport was cloned just to implicate you in the UK, and if not for a routine immigration check, only God knows what those demons had planned. Your family businesses are under constant attack. Now Nigerians just found out that you have been stopped from visiting Universities and this is like the tenth incident.🤷🏾‍♂️ There is actually a state funded Ministry of Social media attack against you. Sir, if you don’t speak up at the first instance of an attack, you give your enemies a chance to keep trying. Have they tried impersonating your passport again? Exactly because you exposed it. Your silence in the presence of oppression, doesn’t mean you are strong it only gives your oppressors the leverage to try again. Wisdom is profitable to direct!

ONCE UPON A TIME, there were two presidents whose authorities looked almost the same from a distance. Both had powerful convoys that cleared roads before they arrived. Both had private helicopters slicing through the sky, private jets waiting on standby, and armoured SUVs that turned them into moving fortresses. From the outside, it looked identical with power, prestige and protection. But then the story started to change. One president woke up knowing that the people could look into his life. His tax returns were public, his earnings questioned, his decisions scrutinized. When he ate, it wasn’t hidden behind layers of secrecy, he paid for his meals, even in the grand residence (WH) he lived in. And when the nation had questions, he stood before them, took them head-on, and answered. The other president? He also had a helicopter. And a jet. And an armoured SUV. But when the people asked questions, they were met with silence, arrests, torture or carefully scripted words. When they asked about money, they got shadows instead of answers. When they looked for accountability, they found power repeating itself, louder, stronger, but emptier each time. So the difference was never really in the machines. Not in the helicopters. Not in the jets. Not in the convoys. The difference was in something quieter, something harder to build, and easier to avoid: One system made power answer to the people. The other made the people answer to power. And that, more than anything money could buy, was where the two stories stopped being the same.

YOU CANNOT REPLACE A HOSPITAL WITH HOUSES AND CALL IT DEVELOPMENT. Plot 546, Wuye District. Land designated in the Abuja Master Plan for a public health facility. Now reportedly redesignated and allocated for a private residential estate. Construction already ongoing. I want us to sit with that for a moment. A growing district. A city that is supposed to be planned. And someone decided that the land meant to serve your health, your emergencies, your children's emergencies, should serve something else. Even officials within the system have acknowledged this: the land was originally meant for a health centreand a redesignation occurred through official channels. That is not a rumour. That is their own admission. So the question I am asking and I want every single Abuja resident to ask is this: How do you remove a critical public health facility from a growing district without a transparent conversation with the people who will be affected? Because this is not about politics. This is not about which government or which party. This is about a woman in labour. A man with a fracture. A child in a medical emergency. A family that cannot afford a private hospital. These are the people who will pay the price of this decision, not the people who made it. Nigeria's healthcare system is already overstretched. Our public hospitals are overcrowded and under-resourced. Distance to care costs lives. When you remove a planned facility from a community, you are not delaying development, you are increasing risk. Real risk. To real people. The Abuja Master Plan exists for a reason. It is a promise that every district will have hospitals, schools, and security infrastructure, the things that allow people to live with dignity. Once you start tampering with that structure without accountability, you are not adjusting land use. You are breaking trust. And Nigerians have noticed the pattern: spaces meant for public good quietly becoming opportunities for private gain. Whether or not due process was followed, perception matters. Trust matters. And right now, people are asking questions that deserve clear answers. The relevant authorities owe Nigerians three answers: 1. Why was this land redesignated? 2. What public interest assessment was done before that decision? 3. How will the healthcare needs of Wuye residents now be met? Nobody is against development. But development that sidelines essential services is not progress, it is imbalance. Abuja must not become a city where plans exist only on paper, while reality serves something else entirely. We can do better. And we must demand better. Aisha Yesufu
