So, they've been doing the high flip out of defensive zone a lot this series, which creates 1v1 foot race. On OT goal, Pastrnak is just coming on to ice, and Byram is fresh and gliding into O-zone, so really 88 just had to beat Samuelsson for inside ice at end of very long shift.

@_TyAnderson when felger says Pastrnak is cherry picking is that not just how they want to get the puck out of their zone? I feel like I see other players doing it when 88 isn’t on the ice.

Guess this clears up any speculation that he was doing some kind of extended/long-term thing. But anyone who’s gone to therapy/counseling knows life doesn’t just stop around you. You keep going to work and living your life through it the best you can.

Attempting to clear up some internet confusion the last 24 hours: It was never the plan for Mike Vrabel to attend one day of therapy and not go back. It is a process. He was gone Saturday. He’s back with the team now. He will be gone and return again in the future.
