Juli 2026 zwei Einbrecher (19 und 24 Jahre alt, aus Frankreich), mit Vorschlaghämmern und einem Auto in das Waffengeschäft »Waffenfuzzi« einzubrechen. Sie schlugen und rammten etwa neun Minuten lang gegen die Panzerglastür. Als die Polizei eintraf, flohen die Männer mit ihrem (in Frankreich gestohlenen) Auto. Ein Beamter umfuhr das Fahrzeug, griff nach der Fahrertür und forderte sie zum Aussteigen auf. Der Fahrer schlug die Tür zu und gab Gas; daraufhin fielen zwei Schüsse. Das Fluchtfahrzeug scherte aus, beschädigte den Streifenwagen und krachte gegen eine Hauswand. Beide Tatverdächtigen wurden getroffen, schwer verletzt, festgenommen und ins Krankenhaus gebracht.
