Calling it a demoralization op is a bit too much credit.
A lot of the anti-Trump right, who don't like Trump for being "based enough" are people who generally have massive internal issues.
To be in your 40s, and saying that your entire shtick is incredibly disappointing and you basically regret most of your life.
Clearly they thought everything was magically going to be fixed. Plenty of 40 somethings, are currently going around and trying to burn the system down.
If you are 40 something and want to burn the system down, that means you have no stake in the current system, so you are by all accounts a loser.
Don't take advice from 40 somethings like that.

In Texas as a Democrat, you need three things in order to win:
1. Run it up with hispanics
2. Max black turnout
3. Don’t get killed with white voters
If even just one of these things don’t happen, it becomes nearly impossible for a Democrat to win. Thats why Talarico struggling to motivate black voters this much is a huge problem.
