For anyone questioning Darryn Peterson, I'd implore you to go back and watch him play in high school. For instance, look at the elevation on this jumper today in the second half, then one from last year at Prolific vs. Columbus. He can't even elevate into his shot right now.

@JustinGarnerrr @Sam_Vecenie That has zero to do with lift on wide open shots. You can see he’s getting zero elevation the past few weeks. If your argument was he has to get the shot off quicker due to the closeout, then sure. But these are wide open shots he’s getting no lift on

@RealPabloE @Sam_Vecenie And you’re intentionally ignoring the fact that defenses close quicker at elite colleges compared to high school. He’s not able to get the separation he used to which leads to elevation cuz the overall speed of college is an adjustment. He’s 205 pounds. Not 225. Grown men.

@MaxKlotz_ @ChrisBHaynes @TheSteinLine @SacramentoKings It’s not uncommon for players to play through injuries that require offseason surgery or cleanup. Tanking teams just have their players get it sooner, especially if they may get traded and need to pass a physical.

DeMar, right now with Sabonis and LaVine out, is fine. The sad fact is the Kings don't have a young player ready to take those on-ball reps. It's ok to let the kids just get acclimated and stay on the floor before upping their responsibility

Point of correction - this is not the first time the Kings are going to tear it down and rebuild. The Kings actually did that under Vlade from 2016-2018. The Kings liquidated all their vets and had SEVEN first round picks between 2016 and 2018. ALL of them were busts except Fox

@o_a_khan Look at the roster those years. We had cousins, Gay and Collison when we traded the 8 pick for 3 later firsts. It wasn’t due to tanking, it was because we didn’t tank, won some late games, and ended up with the 8 pick in a 6-7 player draft.
