@CassidyTheCivet And yes, the fandom has always had a strong party element. But my thesis here is how that element has escaped containment and now wider and wider swaths of gay men want to join in mainly for the party.

@CassidyTheCivet Like, someone in the 2000's becomes furry when they play Star Fox and get funny feelings. In the 2020's they find fursuitng and conventions on TikTok and join for thr party. Different stocks. And thats valid! But I think people sense the shift and don't know how to articulate it.

Normie gay men have figured out in the last 5 years that the furry fandom at its best is better and more fun for gay men than what a lot of the actual gay community has to offer.

I'm sorry artists... Believe me, I've had PLENTY of bad commissioners.. I've done the full time art gig too.. but we can't let artists dictate the market because we will end up driving commissioners away and they WILL turn to other means to get art.

Commission prices are out of control. Simple as. 300 bucks for a ref sheet or basic drawing?? Hell no. That's 10 HOURS of my life I would have had to spend to be able to afford that. Actually, it's definitely more than that because the government taxes wages.
