I love my country, but the collective ignorance of the American people empowers so-called public servants who abuse their positions of trust to push policies that further individual agendas at the expense of the nation they ostensibly serve. Fact-based logic no longer matters.
Mark Twain was right, stick with a Dog! 🐕@DogsareLoyal1s

@RealScottRitter Its amazing at their Group Think Mr. Ritter. Like watch Pompeo boast about lying, cheating and stealing, or those who plot the overthrow of a democratically elected government. These buffoons have their ilk chanting USA USA. Even when War Crimes are committed.

THE CRIMINALIZATION OF PATRIOTISM Alexander Zyrianov has been imprisoned for two years on false allegations of corruption. His real crime? Putting his country above the political interests of his regional authorities in Novosibirsk. I was recently interviewed by Ksenia Sobchak. She had apparently taken umbrage over what she perceived as my unwillingness to be critical of Russia. I have been traveling to Russia on a regular basis since 2023. My goal has been to listen and to learn, not to criticize and object. Russia belongs to the Russian people. And it is the duty and responsibility of the Russian people to criticize and object to aspects of their existence they are dissatisfied with, not mine. I let Russia show me the Russian reality as it is—unvarnished and genuine. I did, however, voice one major objection—how my very good friend Alexander Zyrianov has been treated by the Russian legal system. Read more: scottritter.substack.com/p/the-criminal…

The 'peacemaker' Trump is now endorsing Ukrainian strikes deep inside Russia. Europe is openly waging war against Russia through Ukraine. And Germany is spending 29% of its budget on defense—levels not seen since WWII. Where does this end? forumgeopolitica.com/article/europe…

I thank France for its readiness to support Ukraine with additional air defense systems and missiles as early as this year. I also thank France for its readiness to provide licenses for ASTER and SCALP – this will be of great help. I thank the United Kingdom and Germany for their consistently tangible steps to help protect lives. There will be new defense packages for Ukraine. Thank you. @BohuslavskaKate Maybe McCaul will lead Russia to the central Special Forces command center the same way Graham led Russia to the big Ukrainian drone factory.

Rep. McCaul: Last night, I was at Ukraine’s central special forces command, where they conduct major drone operations. This was fascinating. They take $25,000 drone and take out $100 million infrastructure facility in Russia. This is how they win, because Russia can’t afford it.

He was a genocidal maniac with zero appreciation of international law. He was a war criminal who openly advocated for the mass murder of civilians. He was a disgrace to the Constitution he swore an oath to uphold and defend. America is a better place without him. And the world a safer place as well.

Lindsey Graham's parents died within 15 months of each other when his sister Darline was 13. He became her guardian and raised her. He was a military lawyer, a Judge Advocate General (JAG), after getting his psychology degree. He once served as head prosecutor in Europe in USAF. He retired as a colonel and earned a Bronze Star. He also served in the Guard and Reserve. He was a constitutional law scholar, and when asked a question about legislation, would frequently speak at length about the constitution. He had a wicked sense of humor. He loved his state, the military, and his country. He loved his sister most of all.

Journalist: You previously said that Bandera was not a mass murderer of Jews and Poles. Melnik: I stand by my opinion. Journalist: But there are his leaflets from 1941 containing a direct call to destroy Jews.   Permanent representative of Ukraine at the UN Andriy Melnyk wriggles like a worm on a hook, trying to justify the main hero of Kiev's many neo-Nazis.

In Lviv, every street and every corner comes alive with street musicians - classical, rock, jazz, you name it. Every taste, always incredible. I can’t quite put into words how magical this ancient city is. Moscow didn’t even exist when Lviv was founded… those really were the good days! 🇺🇦

THE STUPIDITY OF MAN The stupidity of man is manifest, and when I say “man”, I mean “Gilbert Doctorow.” Gilbert Doctorow, the highly educated modern manifestation of Henny Penny, has published a new essay entitled “Russia is losing the War!” Those who listen to Scott Ritter, to Colonel Macgregor, to Larry Johnson, Doctorow starts, on their nearly daily podcast appearances and believe that the inexorable progress of Russian forces on the line of contact in Donbas, moving towards the Dnieper and conquest of the entire Donbas mean RUSSIAN VICTORY are being deceived. As I have been saying for some time, loss of the Donbas, even loss of Odessa will not force Ukraine to capitulate and will not put an end to the ever more damaging Ukrainian attacks on Russian critical infrastructure in the energy sector. A MOST SINFUL MAN Lindsey Graham had come to define the United States over the course of the past quarter century. This was not a good thing. Lindsey Olin Graham is dead. He served the State of South Carolina in one form or another for 36 years, the last 23 of which were as a United States Senator. Lindsey Graham postured himself as a man of integrity and honor, a patriot’s patriot, who put service to country above all else. A Christian. But the reality is he was anything but. In this edition of The Russia House, I am joined by Vasyl Prozorov, a former senior member of the Ukrainian security service (SBU) who defected to Russia in 2018. Prozorov describes his service in the SBU, his decision to defect, as well as the prospects for peace and the reality around what “denazification” means for Ukraine in the context of the Special Military Operation. youtu.be/-UDGJ43Xb00?si… via @YouTube

🇷🇺🇺🇸 Yesterday, US senator, Lindsey Graham visited Ukraine to assure Zelensky support of the United States. The warmonger was shown a "secret" drone manufacturing facility in Kiev. Well, this facility no longer exists after strikes by the Russian MoD. Without warning, 6 missiles struck two manufacturing facilities in the Kiev region. The RuMoD confirmed strikes on drone sites which started a huge fire. None of Russia's ballistic missiles were shot down. Lindsey Graham is no longer in Ukraine.

A Russian Oligarch as a Harbinger of Change @TheEconomist, a publication I have valued for decades, has published an article by Russian oligarch Andrey Melnichenko, featuring his photograph on the cover under the headline: “The Man Who Would Change Russia.” Why Melnichenko himself wanted to give this interview—and why he spent 60 hours talking to journalist Arkady Ostrovsky—is perfectly clear to me. A sanctioned billionaire from the Putin era, a quantum physicist by training, who, like everyone else in Russia, made his fortune by exploiting natural resources rather than by developing Russian artificial intelligence or a quantum computer, has been given a platform in one of the world’s leading publications—a platform that money alone could never buy—to present himself as the voice of reason. He expresses concern about Russia’s future and outlines four possible scenarios: Russia descends into chaos, becomes a vassal of the West, becomes a vassal of China, or turns into another North Korea. Like Putin, he argues that Russia needs sovereignty, although perhaps with different nuances. It is The Economist’s business whom it chooses to put on its cover and what headlines it decides to publish. It is my business, as a reader, to express my opinion about what I have read. The interviewee himself interests me very little, except for the fact that his mother is Ukrainian and that he spent two decades living in Switzerland, paying only brief visits to Russia between voyages on his expensive superyacht. What disappointed me was the publication of this article, as well as its lively discussion with the Editor-in-Chief @zannymb on The Insider podcast. Disappointed—not angered or shocked. No Melnichenko is going to bring change to Russia. That should be obvious to everyone. A symptomatic voice offering observations that are already obvious to everyone should not be mistaken for some kind of breakthrough. What disappointed me most was that the article contains not the slightest reference to Russia’s horrific and unjust war, to the suffering of millions, to the blood that has been shed, to the lives that have been lost, or to countless human tragedies. There is nothing about values. Nothing about humanity. Not the slightest trace of remorse. The fact that there is not a single critical word about Putin is, at least, understandable. He is afraid. And, in any case, it is difficult to imagine that such an interview could have been given without some form of permission. What also disappointed me was the continuing failure to understand Russia and Russian society. As someone with practical experience in the world of realpolitik, I will say just one thing: amorality and cynicism ultimately destroy individuals, nations, and states. Do not legitimize them. P.S. @olliecarroll Oliver Carroll, I fully share your take.
