‼️ Breaking‼️ Iran’s Irresponsible and Aggressive Attack on Saudi Installations - Prior to today’s incident, no country , including Israel had dared to attack Saudi Arabia. Iran’s strike on petroleum facilities in the Saudi city of Jubail is not only an attack on Saudi Arabia but also an affront to the sentiments of Muslims worldwide. - The attack on Jubail’s oil refinery and petrochemical installations cannot be equated in any way with a retaliatory strike on American facilities. - Saudi Arabia has consistently maintained that U.S. bases on its soil exist under formal agreements and have never been permitted to be used for offensive actions against Iran. - Any attack on Saudi Arabia’s economically vital installations poses serious risks to its overall security and stability. Such aggression also threatens the protection of the Two Holy Mosques, which is completely unacceptable for Pakistan as a guardian and ally. - Since the beginning of rising tensions in the Middle East, Pakistan has repeatedly urged Iran to avoid targeting neighboring countries, especially Saudi Arabia, as such actions only escalate instability. Despite these concerns, Iran has continued attacks on Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states. - In contrast, Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries have demonstrated restraint, limiting their actions to defensive measures. - This attack by Iran is a severe blow to ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at de-escalation. It comes at a critical time when negotiations were making sensitive progress toward ending conflict, thereby undermining these initiatives. - Despite being fully aware of the mutual defense agreement between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, Iran’s actions risk creating further difficulties for the people of Iran and Arab nations and go against the broader interests of the Muslim Ummah. - It is important to highlight that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia share deep-rooted, historic ties that transcend sectarian and linguistic divisions. The Two Holy Mosques hold profound significance for all Muslims in Pakistan. - Pakistan strongly condemns these attacks on Saudi Arabia and calls on all parties to exercise restraint. In light of Islamic teachings, when one of two Muslim parties commits aggression, it is encouraged to support the oppressed side. - Such irresponsible and aggressive actions are dangerous for the economic stability of developing countries like Pakistan.
