I say this as a former Green Beret and CIA Paramilitary Ops officer who has been involved in these operations- they simply don't work in the long run. There is no military solution to our conflict with Iran, POTUS should stop listening to those who have not updated their thinking since 2003 and get us out of this mess before we are sucked further in.
