A lot of people make a big deal about how the Magen David [✡️] is a relatively recently symbol of Judaism and while that's somewhat true (formerly a menorah symbol [🕎] was more common) it's neither without its Jewish history nor that unusual for faiths to pick up new symbols.

It is worth noting that Cali is a lot more high stakes than Illinois in the chucklefuck brigade arena because while IL has normal civilised elections, CA does jungle primaries and can absolutely wind up with a GOP governor if the Dems clown car it up too much.

@Will2Live96 Not likely. The reason it was so commonplace to leave the South after the Civil War wasn't just the bigotry, the freed slaves also literally had nothing.
There's too much fiscally tying those that are there to the South. And many are still moving down for affordability reasons.
