@themouthmatusow Wow, if ever there was an example of why people shouldn't do drugs, you are it.

This scum should never be allowed anywhere near a poker game or a poker room again! He should be blacklisted from every casino! Free speech has a price!

This disgusting antisemite has been using Palestinian suffering since October 7th as a cover to spew his vile antisemitism. He doesn’t care about our pain—he’s hijacking it to push his bigotry, and he deserves nothing but total rejection and contempt.

@RealKidPoker You know the "UK Grooming Gang" scandal happened between 1997 and 2013 right? It sounds to me like you have fallen for the racist nonsense spouted by Tommy Robinson

Any Palace fan who doesn't say Ade Akinbiyi is wrong. #cpfc

Who’s the worst striker your club’s ever had?

@HLTCO Keep fighting the good fight Dan. You're worth a hundred of that clown Barton.

I’ve not been as active on here as I usually am over the last few days and whilst it’s not solely down to the increase in anti-disabled rhetoric that’s being thrown about freely, I would be lying if I said it hadn’t played a part.
As many of you will know, I hadn’t disclosed anything about my cerebral palsy on here until the start of 2023 for fear of judgment; it’s not as though I wasn’t used to name-calling and ignorant abuse throughout childhood, a large number of kids with disabilities are forced to contend with such issues throughout their school life and I was no different but I didn’t welcome the idea of the same thing happening on here and with that part of my life hidden from my view, my perspectives on football were digested at face-value rather than with a caveat; which made for an extremely refreshing shift to the norm for me.
Unfortunately, it’s difficult to separate the anti-disabled insults used on here by a certain ex-footballer in recent times with an obvious uptick in the frequency with which others are throwing around similar comments. It may, in isolation be the ramblings of a fool who knows his days of employment in the game are gone but by being so casual in his use of such terms, there’s no denying that he has emboldened countless others to follow suit.
I’m a big boy, it won’t stop me from posting on here and in essence, it’s nothing I haven’t heard or dealt with on countless occasions in the past but I just wanted to tweet this to let people know that “ignoring it and not affording him oxygen” doesn’t work when his reach influences so many others to feel as though they can stop hiding their obvious prejudice. I hope none of those who spew out such insults ever have to experience a loved one coping with a disability but I’m sure it would alter their perspective if they did.
Thanks for reading this elongated post, I just wanted to get it off my chest. ❤️

@HLTCO Lol I was only thinking about that Swansea game the day after Luton at home.
English

It’s been years since we were 4-3 up in injury time and lost 5-4 away at Swansea and I still think about it regularly.

If you’re 3-2 up in the 99th minute and still lose the game I’d genuinely consider changing sports

@HLTCO Couldn't have put it better Dan, sums up how most fans are feeling I'm sure.

I’ve slept on it and I’m still absolutely adamant that Roy Hodgson should not be our manager by the time we play again.
Aside from the fact that we are slipping dangerously close to the bottom three, there’s no tactical cohesion when he can’t rely on a moment of brilliance from Eze or Olise. That issue came to a head yesterday when he decided to throw Olise on with the game already long gone; a call that likely put him out for a few more weeks in the process.
There are players who’ve been desperate for minutes all season who could easily have been given a half in that scenario, Franca and Ahamada as examples but instead, short-sightedness has cost us our best player for longer than necessary.
Alongside all of that, his comments in press conferences continue to agitate supporters when there is no need; I see that yesterday, even when trying to praise Adam Wharton (a 19-year-old new signing making his debut in extremely difficult circumstances) he still made direct public reference to a mistake he made; it’s management 101 stuff.
Please don’t construe this as Palace fans being “spoilt” or expecting to be flying in the league, we don’t. We just want to watch a team that can have faith in. This entire season has been an exercise in the ultimate form of pragmatism. I can honestly say that the most invigorated I’ve felt across the last 6 months was the day that Michael Olise signed a new contract, the football itself throughout this entire season to date has been utterly demoralising to watch.
I, alongside thousands of others, live and die with the daily goings on at our club and honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever felt as lacking in pride at the way we play from week to week. It’s like watching a slow-motion car crash on repeat with the man in the dugout reminding of Mr Burns tapping the “Don’t forget, you’re here forever” sign in The Simpsons.
Sorry for rambling on, I’m just miserable.

@PBKRPoker I've heard you can get many hairs transplanted for £13k in Turkey.
