Exactly my point, there should be no social media algorithm that can be bent, to artificially tip the political or cultural scales (for either side). A minimum requirement for the the shield that Section 230 grants should be an open source algorithm and real-time oversight from an independent agency. This was the biggest fight for conservatives (and they all knew it), yet on the verge of losing the house & senate, conservatives are acting surprised that tyrants are doing tyrant stuff. P.S. I love your work Mike, you opened up USAID, the NGO complex & a lot more to ordinary people, but it is hard to come to a conclusion other than both sides want to keep the algorithm gameable & we all know which side will game it better.
