@TheGalox_ 3%??? Since when? How is it even possible to match google and Motorola without carriers?
English

@BAPlushEnjoyer It's sold by third party sellers if you read the listing. Of course they are putting in their margins so it's more expensive. Barking at the wrong tree
English

@TheGalox_ If they are chasing fat margins that's correct. If they are chasing volume that's incorrect. There is only so much premium android market pie to go around. Most consumers will just go to iphone for anything north of $750.

@Johzbohz @UniverseIce I didn’t say smartphone innovation. I said the innovation of the smartphone itself. Name something that Huawei created in the same league as the invention of the smartphone itself. Don’t care about spec bumps that doesn’t fundamentally change the device.
English

@Real_Chris_Kim @UniverseIce The only company that is been credited for the past 5 years with the most innovations of smartphone have alway been huawei, so I really don't get your point here

Samsung may still be the world's largest smartphone company on paper.
But in reality, it has already lost.
Here's why.
Some companies know how to build products.
Some companies know how to build products and shape perception.
The difference sounds small, but it's actually an entirely different dimension of competition.
Product-driven companies create technologies, features, and experiences.
Perception-driven companies create concepts, narratives, and industry consensus.
The former solve problems.
The latter define what the problems are.
The former push the industry forward.
The latter influence the direction in which the industry moves.
Many people think business competition is ultimately about products.
At the highest level, it's about perception.
Products get copied.
Technologies spread.
Specifications become commodities.
But perception can last for years.
Consumers understand an industry through the narratives they hear. They judge leaders through the concepts that become mainstream.
When a company can build great products and also shape how the world understands those products, it gains more than a market advantage. It gains the power to define the rules.
Samsung is a classic example of a company that builds products.
Apple and Huawei build products, but they also build perception.
Over the past few years, Apple and Huawei have introduced concepts, trends, and shared understandings that shaped how consumers view the industry.
Samsung, despite its engineering achievements, has contributed surprisingly little to consumer perception.
In the long run, the companies that define the conversation often have a bigger advantage than the companies that simply make the products.

@KItreal2019 @TouchlineX Brother really compared himself to the top football player of the world lol. Here's the difference when you won no one but your mum cared, these guys will get multimillion dollar deals if they win. Why wouldn't they do things to improve their condition?
English

@TouchlineX People are so soft these days. 5 substitutes, hydration breaks, now we’re keeping subs inn the dressing room? It’s hot. Toughen up. At 14 I was playing 3 games a day in 95F each July. Tell all these pampered princes to suck it up and play
English

🚨💣 𝐄𝐗𝐂𝐋𝐔𝐒𝐈𝐕𝐄: Multiple nations are considering having their substitutes watch matches from inside the dressing room due to the extreme heat during the World Cup in the USA this summer.
If they are set to come on, the assistant manager would go back to the dressing room and tell the players to start warming up.

English

@NoahGairn Looks like the KSS3 visit to Esquimalt really jolted them. Korean side should really advertise the point that they can start training sailors immediately on the KSS3 platform, since the Navy wants to increase the submariner count from 200 to 1000.

I heard this yesterday, and plan to follow up
