Tomorrow, I have to walk into a courtroom and testify against a man who threatened to take me and my baby “out” after my child was born. He had a public countdown to my due date, from an anonymous account called “Himothy”. A man who became obsessed with me after I began reporting on the Karmelo Anthony case. A man who targeted me because I refused to stop speaking. Because I refused to be intimidated. Because I would not back down from telling the truth. This man, Tyrone Gilyard, made repeated threats toward me, my family, and my unborn child. Threats about harming me. Threats about coming after me once my baby arrived. Threats meant to terrorize me into silence. He was found by the FBI and CID, arrested, extradited back to Texas, placed on 10 years straight probation… and then violated that probation almost immediately. He was then rearrested. And tomorrow, I have to sit in the same room as him. I won’t lie - I am anxious. I am emotional. And I am praying for strength. No mother should ever have to hear the kinds of things that were said to me while carrying a child. No woman should have to fear what someone obsessed with destroying her may do next. @wilsonhlthcoach Since I've been a nurse, I've watched the treatment parameters for BP, cholesterol, BS etc drop significantly without regard to lifestyle or circumstance. My MIL got put on multiple bp meds because she had white coat syndrome. Result: a chemically induced arrhythmia and pacemaker

The only people in my family in the past 30 years who had heart attacks were all on statins and had normal cholesterol levels. Most of the patients I've had with heart disease and atherosclerosis have normal cholesterol levels and many were already on a statin. We've always been told to fear cholesterol, take a statin, avoid red meat and saturated fats. My experiences don't fit the "cholesterol causes heart disease" narrative.
