For any who don't seem to "get it", Sidney Lowe was hired after a boondoggle coaching search featuring multiple public rejections. Due to the timeline, and to limit collateral damage, Lowe stepped in despite not being a good fit and took the job at State. In a way... he was being noble and selfless. That didn't mean he did a great job or that it turned out well. Carolina is essentially living a mirror of that moment whether they want to admit it or not. It may end up better for them than it did NC State but if I was a Tar Heel I'd be incredibly nervous right now.
No amount of bravado or trash talk is going to change the fact the portal opens on Tuesday and you don't have a coach.

I don't want to hire someone simply because UNC wants them and it'd be a huge public insult for them to turn UNC down and lead the Wolfpack... but it'd be a plus.

@Real_Pack_Man You’re right. He’s attractive because he’s associate head coach of UT. Is their defensive coordinator that has led to a top defensive team annually. He’s credited with recruiting/developing 8 nba draft picks since 2020. He’s taken over a lot of the media appearances for Barnes.

Hey NCAA, us more about players that don’t show “loyalty,” don’t want to go through “adversity” and how player movement impacts stability. Tell us more about “tampering” and “poaching.” The Coaches Portal is ALWAYS open. Funny how silent coaches and administrators are about that.
