Maltinha, se têm seguros na Allianz tirem-nos de lá o mais rápido possível. Tenho uma familar que sofreu um acidente de trabalho, foi transportada pelo INEM para um hospital do SNS e está internada num corredor, em condições desumanas, sem a mínima privacidade, sem condições mínimas de alimentação e descanso. Tem um quadro clínico de cirurgia, com uma lesão grave no tornezelo direito, onde existe a hipótese de ficar com limitações permanentes parciais. Está nestas condições desde terça-feira ao final do dia. O hospital está à espera que a Allianz assuma as suas responsabilidades legais e clínicas. A companhia de seguros Allianz limita-se a responder que o sinistro está em análise clínica. Receberam a participação de sinistro em tempo recorde, bem como o relatório médico devidamente detalhado, incluindo uma declaração em como a sinistrada está em condições, com os devidos cuidados, se ser transferida para outra unidade clínica. Fujam da Allianz!!!!

Today, our long-range sanctions worked across three areas on Russian territory, as well as on our temporarily occupied land and at sea. In particular, in response to Russian strikes on our civilian infrastructure and on our cities and communities, two major logistics facilities were hit – in the Moscow and Tambov regions, more than 500 and nearly 700 kilometers from the front line. The aggressor used them to supply sanctioned components for drone production and navigation equipment. An oil facility was also struck. In addition, Ukrainian mid-range strikes engaged targets in the waters of the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea, and in our temporarily occupied Crimea. I thank the warriors of the Unmanned Systems Forces, the Special Operations Forces, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, and the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine – every unit of Ukraine's Defense Forces – for their precise and coordinated execution of these missions. Glory to Ukraine!

I was “black” when I read The Odyssey in high school... ...but somehow I never imagined the characters as looking like me. Why? Because they were GREEK characters. I didn’t need Odysseus to look like me to appreciate his story. I didn’t need Helen of Troy to look like me to understand her importance. They were Greek characters from a specific culture, with a specific history. And this is what Hollywood keeps getting wrong. We don’t identify with characters because they look like us. We connect with them because we recognize something human in them - their struggles, their courage, their flaws, their values. Odysseus is a GREEK hero. Helen of Troy is a GREEK woman. Their identities are part of what makes their stories meaningful. Casting Colombians and Africans and Indians as Greek ISN'T "representation." It’s just insulting. Stop it.
