The Police Services Board lied to the community and the councillors on the PSB that are also represented on Regional Council did not appropriately and fairly fulfill their role as Regional Councillors. This calls into question the council and the vote on the police budget. 4/

Meanwhile: “The service needs more officers, said the report, prepared for police by consultant KPMG for about $136,000.”
