Edward Lee's first novel NIGHT BAIT was published in 1982, the first of two he wrote under the pseudonym Philip Straker for Zebra Books during their "bloody fruit" phase of cover art for thrillers. #paperbackhorror

A nearby antique store used to have about ten aisles full of hardcovers from the UK. For several months, I'd go down and comb through them. Many were common bestsellers, but I hauled some horror out of there. Here are some pictures. Neat stuff.
