Fairly scarce as far as I can tell: Michael Avallone's novelization of Friday the 13th Part 3 in 3D.

My favorite paperback editions of Clive Barker's BOOKS OF BLOOD, cherished parts of my collection, with original cover art by the author. Darkly beautiful work inside and out. "Every body is a book of blood; whenever we're opened, we're red." #paperbackhorror

The Bloodsong trilogy by the late great C. Dean Andersson, writing under his pen name Asa Drake, was published by Warner Books in 1985 and '86 featuring epic cover art by Boris Vallejo. Here's an old interview where he talks about these books and more: kingsofthenight0.tripod.com/dean.htm

Edward Lee's first novel NIGHT BAIT was published in 1982, the first of two he wrote under the pseudonym Philip Straker for Zebra Books during their "bloody fruit" phase of cover art for thrillers. #paperbackhorror

Warner Lee (B.W. Battin) gets some love in the latest issue of Realms of Night in my review of It's Loose. I also loved Into the Pit. Good, fun supernatural horror! #paperbackhorror

A nearby antique store used to have about ten aisles full of hardcovers from the UK. For several months, I'd go down and comb through them. Many were common bestsellers, but I hauled some horror out of there. Here are some pictures. Neat stuff.

DEATH-COACH spotted in the wild way back when. J.N. Williamson wrote four books for Zebra featuring his character Lamia Zacharias, Queen of the Vampires back in 1981 and '82. DEATH-COACH was the first one in the series. Great cover art. #paperbackhorror
