Late night tv was about entertainment, comedy, interesting people, stupid dog tricks, pranks, improv, music, promoting movies, opening monologues that skewed both sides of the political aisle for a few minutes and interesting and weird new stories of the day. Then the mass media used it to target a specific audience in 2015 to push a narrative that one political side was the evil and they colluded with the other major networks on the other late night platforms to do the same. Time to get back to what made late night worth staying up for.
