Parked up, dinner cooked and time to switch off. 🚛 Chicken, roast potatoes and veg, a cold Budweiser, a film on the TV and my feet up after another long day on the road. This is how I make the truck feel like home. 👌

England vs Argentina tonight, so I’m not cooking in the truck. ⚽🚛 Chinese takeaway, feet up, game on the TV… and the lightsaber chopsticks are out for the occasion. 😂

I think I’ve found a new home for my YouTube Silver Play Button. 🏆🚛 It used to sit in the side window, but I started thinking it might be creating too much glare for other drivers. Moved it up onto the back wall instead… and I actually think it looks better! 👌 What do you reckon? Leave it here or move it back? 🤔

Another day done. 🚛 Truck parked up, work finished, feet up and it’s finally time to switch off. Tonight’s menu is a nice steak, crispy fries, vine tomatoes and peppercorn sauce, washed down with a cold Budweiser while watching Peaky Blinders. 🍺🥩📺 People often ask how I cope with living in a truck all week, but evenings like this make it feel less like work and more like having a little home on wheels. Now it’s time to relax, recharge and do it all again tomorrow. How’s everyone else spending their evening? 😊🚛

There were a lot of comments praising PC Steve for the way he handled a serious incident on a bridge on my last video I posted. Police officers often receive complaints, but I imagine they don’t get thanked nearly enough when they do an excellent job. So I emailed the force to pass on all the positive comments from everyone, and this was the reply from his Inspector. Credit where it’s due. 👏🚓

Every truck driver’s worst nightmare… minutes away from parking up, England about to kick off, and the road ahead gets closed. 🚛⚽ Police were dealing with a serious incident on a bridge, and PC Steve did a brilliant job keeping everyone calm and informed. Eventually got parked up, food sorted and watched the match from the truck. One of those evenings you don’t forget.

The A12 “pee police” are still out! 🚔🌳 Even if you nip behind a bush or a tree, you could still end up with a £150 fine. With the shortage of truck parking and proper facilities, it’s a difficult situation for drivers.
