From the DMs: Hello wet - You’re nice and uplifting but we’ve seen this song and dance plenty of times before and it’s usually a facade. What’s the deal? It’s a question we’ve seen before and quite frankly the most. Accounts that serve as uplifting, overly positive etc tend to, in the long run, either be self serving or get “exposed” as not supportive at all Here’s the reality…..this is us and we’re far from perfect. Go back enough years and you’ll see we’ve made mistakes, been unintentionally rude or misinformed, and generally been exposed as being a genuine human being warts and all So why are we so nice? Well frankly the worlds a garbage place most of the time and we’ve been there, streaming to 1 or less people (Honestly we still do some days) and know what it can mean to have someone say hi, support you, or just be there. We don’t ask for anything in return outside throwing a like or occasional RT on our tweets where you want and we understand how that can feel to good to be true. We’ve been incredibly lucky to both surround ourselves with people better than ourselves to keep us on track and very financially responsible with the funds we do manage to put GWS in a spot where we don’t Wikipedia you to death needing support or money. Lastly anyone who knows me knows I’m still a jerk but who means well and would give you the digital fishnets off our backs. We love to support and uplift others because we’ve seen the difference it can make. So no, there’s self serving here - that’s in part because we realize if we disappeared tomorrow no one would miss GWS - but and more importantly, so many of you would like the ability to meet new people, grow your network, and be a part of something that doesn’t suck the life out of you daily So, thanks for reading all of that and love you
