Thanks for 1k+ followers! I've been on an unspoken hiatus until news of the Wilds expansion drops (June 5th). As of Base game, I've got about 90 conversions to work on per body-type, so I've got my work cut out for me for a while 😅 Also new Palico pattern vvv

@squigglydraws I was thinking more about how the subject itself is cropped. Like. What's actually captured in the frame. Think of it like the difference between a bust and a fullbody. Stuff like that, but informed by what you want the viewer to see

@RearShelf Do you mean like, having more detail in a place where I want the viewers attention on and less on the whole piece? I think I seen something like what I described in bug drawings where they draw a circle over the rough sketch and detail within and leave the outer ring unfinished.

Question for everyone. How can I make my sketches more appealing? I like my line and messy sketches, but I have many ideas to doodle. Is there a quick technique to enhance my sketches, apart from adding color? What would you like to see?

@squigglydraws If you wanna get really abstract for ways to be appealing, consider drawing LESS on the canvas. Focus your compositions and focus on what you want to show off, cutting the rest out entirely. Perspective and foreshortening also count, but that's not quite quick or easy

@squigglydraws Hmm. "Enhance" here is tricky since you're also looking for quick. There's stuff like cross-hatching for textures/shading or changing the background color to be something more soothing than Flashbang White. Line weight variation is one way, but I'm not sure how quick that is
