Our Anansi biscuits are looking great - I hope they taste as good as they look! Can you spot the dead flies? How many do you have in your web? Yummy! 😋 @ReayPrimary
We are having the best fun making hats at the National Gallery before watching a performance of ‘That’s Not My Hat’! Fabulous time! @ReayPrimary@ReayMrs
Reception are making their Anansi biscuits helping to measure out the ingredients & to mix them. “What are we going to use for the dead flies Lucy?” one asks, smiling. “I think we’ll use raisins.” “Oh good idea! I don’t think I want to try REAL dead flies!” @ReayPrimary
Reception have been honing their fine motor skills by sewing - I mean spinning of course - spider webs with which their Anansi can catch flies for his dinner. @ReayPrimary
As part of our Anansi book, we have been learning about Ghana so Reception have been making Ghanaian jollof rice today. We are looking forward to finishing it and eating it on Monday! Look at how carefully we used the knives @ReayPrimary 🤞😋
Reception have been honing their fine-motor skills by exploring our Autumn nature table with magnifying glasses and tweezers through this gigantic spider web. 🕸️ I wonder if it belongs to Kwaku Anansi… @ReayPrimary
