On the final day to apply for Retro9000 c-chain round 1, we're at 43 participating projects, 24 with active transactions. Pumpspace is the newer entrant still at #3 for the day. AvaxPixel the non-DeFi app holding on to the 5th spot. Totalling 37.35 $AVAX, R9k was 7.2% of burn.

So I've been indexing a bunch of L1s (Fuji partial, Henesys a bit behind) and this shows block/tx count for 1h/1d/1w. @Wrathtank_avax 's @TheGrottoL1 doing double the tx of the FIFA L1? QChain and Titan on life support?

@0xschlboy Most of the cost now is for priority inclusion, Selini was 2/3 of gas two days ago with less than 1% of tx.

@0xschlboy I'm thinking about gas fees (base and priority), and what they represent relative to tokenomics. Base fees theoretically pay for compute and storage, priority fees for urgency. What's the right framing for who should get paid for what?

Are staking incentives and validation incentives the same thing? I don't think so, but I'm not seeing them being considered differently.
