In SO much pain right now. I'm about to lose my mind. And I've taken my pain meds. Ever since my fall om 5/20 hard on my knee, my pain has blown up. My COPD has flairwx severely. Feeling sorry for myself and that's not me. Any words of encouragement welcome😢

@SpicyPurritos I put a ponytail in and then with the last loop of the tie only pull my hair halfway through so it's a sort of bun and doesnt touch my neck

@RebeccaCPP loosely is a little better. it just tends to fall then.

how do other people with long hair wear ponytails without getting a headache??

@quinky_dink @ThomasKlineMD I did not mention anything about pain meds. Just said I was suicidal and needed help. I couldn't do it, but I sure wanted to.

@quinky_dink @ThomasKlineMD Reminds me of the time I was cold turkeyed off my pain meds. I was in incredible pain and suicidal. I called ER directly. They redirected call to another place, who redirected to another place...6 times. Ended up back at ER, said they couldn't do anything. Way to save a life 😰

When describing pain avoid words chronic and even “ pain” & be specific "my arthritis acts up when move my shoulders" “My lupus is flaring so i cannot climb my stairs” My morning routine is slower. Wait for doctor to figure out what to do, don’t suggest. #opioidhysteria

@brent_kellogg @WriterMera That's ridiculous. There are more than 30 days in that time frame and you get 30 days of pills. Totally unethical to make you wait with no medication. It could cause irreparable harm and even death. At the very least there most likely will be excruciating withdrawal pain 😰

The excruciating agony that YOU suffer must be acknowledged. This severe hurting shouldn't be minimized. It is a savage hurt that interferes with every aspect of a patient's life. To say, that patients want opioids NOT because they hurt but because they were scammed is idiotic.

@kelly_rdc I know it's out there, but after 3 marriages to jerks I'm not going to see it. At 60 I'm currently in a new relationship and no plans to live together, (govt housing doesnt allow it) and sure dont want to marry. We are next door neighbors. Good enough for me.

I don't say this very often. I am in so much pain tonight. My lower back hurts, my kidneys hurt, my neck is stiff & it IS from stress. And they don't think we know the difference. This IS stress pain. It's cold too.😬😂

I can't eat anything anymore without intense pain. I am so sick of this, and I'm sorry to keep complaining, but I just dont know what to do anymore. Kind words, affection, pet pics, etc. are appreciated #neisvoid
