पश्चिम एशिया में जारी तनाव और फ्यूल सप्लाई पर बढ़ते दबाव के बीच भारत ने वैकल्पिक ईंधन की दिशा में एक बड़ा कदम उठाया है. केंद्र सरकार ने 100 प्रतिशत एथेनॉल फ्यूल को हरी झंडी दे दी है. केंद्रीय सड़क परिवहन एवं राजमार्ग मंत्री नितिन गडकरी ने घोषणा की है कि, अब फ्लेक्स-फ्यूल तकनीक वाले वाहनों में E100 यानी 100 फीसदी इथेनॉल फ्यूल के उपयोग की अनुमति दे दी गई है. उन्होंने बताया कि इस परियोजना से जुड़ी फाइल को मंजूरी दे दी गई है और अब देश में प्योर इथेनॉल फ्यूल के इस्तेमाल का रास्ता साफ हो गया है. भारत पहले ही तय समय से पहले पेट्रोल में 20 प्रतिशत इथेनॉल ब्लेंडिंग का लक्ष्य हासिल कर चुका है. सरकार का दावा है कि इससे कच्चे तेल के आयात पर होने वाला खर्च कम हुआ है और देश को 1 लाख करोड़ रुपये से अधिक की बचत हुई है. इस सफलता से उत्साहित सरकार अब आगे बढ़ते हुए 100 प्रतिशत इथेनॉल बेस्ड ट्रांसपोर्टेशन सिस्टम की दिशा में काम कर रही है. नागपुर में आयोजित एक कार्यक्रम में नितिन गडकरी ने कहा कि, "उन्हें यह बताते हुए खुशी हो रही है कि, कल रात 6 बजे उन्होंने 100 प्रतिशत इथेनॉल के कानूनी उपयोग को मंजूरी देने वाली फाइल पर हस्ताक्षर कर दिए हैं. उन्होंने कहा कि कभी लोग इस विचार पर हंसते थे और इथेनॉल प्रोजेक्ट को रोकने के लिए निगेटिव कैपेंन भी चलाए गए, लेकिन अब यह सपना हकीकत बनता दिखाई दे रहा है." देश की कई प्रमुख ऑटोमोबाइल कंपनियां अब 100 प्रतिशत इथेनॉल पर चलने वाले वाहन बाजार में उतारने की तैयारी कर रही हैं. हाल ही में मारुति सुजुकी की लोकप्रिय वैगनआर का फ्लेक्स-फ्यूल वेरिएंट देश के सामने पेश किया गया था. जिसे केंद्रीय मंत्री नितिन गडकरी और पेट्रोलियम मंत्री हरदीप सिंह पुरी ने पेश किया था. वहीं हीरो मोटोकॉर्प भी इथेनॉल बेस्ड फ्लेक्स-फ्यूल मोटरसाइकिलों की नई सीरीज पेश कर चुकी है, जिसमें स्प्लेंडर और एचएफ डिलक्स शामिल हैं. #E100 #EthanolFuel #FlexFuel #NitinGadkari #GreenFuel #ATCard #AajTakSocial
