I asked God for something dumb. Honestly, it was more out of grief for Kovu, but I said I just really wanted a dog, that's all I ever really wanted, and I lost mine to Addison's Disease and indirectly caused his panic attack. I just wanted a companion to love, and if I couldn't get one, then I asked Him to take away my love for animals. A few days ago, a friend of mine reached out about a litter of puppies she said she was ready to release, and she was kind enough to offer me a huge discount. Corgis. This morning, I was randomly donated the exact amount she quoted me out of the blue. My father does care about the little things, and on top of that, Kovus vet bill was fully paid for through another community member a few days ago. Exact amount plus a bit more. I had such a roller-coaster of emotions this week, I don't even really know what to do. I cried too much, I don't have a lot of tears left, but I do feel hope now. I also have enough to fully have insurance this time with my dog. I will never have another animal without insurance again. Just blown away, and feeling 1 million things. Nothing will ever replace my big wiggle butt. But I deeply want to love another, too. . 💔
