After 1945 the borders moved over them. They stayed on their ancestral land and still fight for their identity, language and rights. In the 1990s they demanded real national-territorial autonomy. Today they are marching openly with Grzegorz Braun and the patriotic right, showing they want stronger ties to Poland and the right to decide their own future — not to be treated as a silent minority under pressure. While some elites in Warsaw and Brussels talk about “integration,” Poles on the Kresy and abroad are saying loud and clear: we support those who defend Polish sovereignty and our people everywhere. Will more Poles — both in Poland and beyond the borders — stand together like this and demand real respect for the entire Polish nation? The Polish spirit on the Kresy is alive and fighting.
