@RecChat @NIRSAlive Also, I strongly dislike the "move out to move up" attitude, especially from people in upper level positions. If it's assumed I'm going to leave, my voice and actions become devalued in my current position.

@RecChat @NIRSAlive My most bonded team regularly played informal sports and games together, pro staff & students together: racquetball, pickleball, water polo, basketball... Taking time during the day to play together made for a healthy, happy team.

@RecChat @NIRSAlive I struggle when places prioritize Policy > People, especially when the policy was created because one person took advantage of something at some point. Give me the responsibility and freedom to do my job. Period.
