Why would we loan him back out again, especially to the same club that isn’t a step up or at the level he should be playing at. I get he wants to play with his brother but for our own interests that makes no sense to me

If we can get him to sign an extension that’s ideal, so perhaps offering one more year so he can play with his brother is the sweetener. I’m happy to show patience if so. He’s only a teenager.

Some positives… Everton have won only 1 from 8, could be out of the running to finish in the top 6 and on the beach by the time we play them. Chelsea will be in a similar position when we play them although they will have played a demanding, tiring FA Cup final 3 days prior.

@talkSPORT I’m sorry but if you take out from last season’s attacking players - a team that finished 17th by the way - Solanke, Son, Maddison, and Kulusevski, but also remove this season’s additions, Kudus and Simmons, then it’s hardly fair to criticise our badly depleted attack.

Why are some people so entrenched in their Political parties? It’s almost like it’s football with the same levels of tribalism. It’s crazy. Surely, it’s sensible to be objective about politics and not be blind to failings of parties just because they’re ’your team’.
