Coyotes establish and defend territories, especially during the breeding season (January to March) and when raising pups (April to September). Territories are marked with scent (urine, feces) and vocalizations to ward off intruders. @ReconyxInc

After being purchased 5-10 years ago, 34 @ReconyxInc camtraps (HC600 & HF2) are now on their way to Holmen, WI, for update and repair. Better to buy good stuff with a good support service when using expensive equipment in a species-rich rainforest with many risks of damage!

🍽️Diner time in the #Pantanal ! 🌎🇧🇷 When a giant armadillo leaves its burrow, other species benefit from it as a thermal refuge, a shelter, but also as a feeding resource! Look how this baby lesser anteater taking advantage of the burrow's roots to feed on insects! #Wildlife
