Celebrating a big step forward for workforce development in New York.
Today, we celebrated the launch of a new joint apprenticeship program with @NY__Creates, creating hands‑on pathways for aspiring technicians to build in‑demand skills and explore careers in advanced manufacturing.
Proud to invest in people, partnerships, and the future of advanced manufacturing—together. bit.ly/42GZc8W#LifeAtMicron#STEMCareers#CommunityPartnerships
I built this thing called Clicky.
It's an AI teacher that lives as a buddy next to your cursor.
It can see your screen, talk to you, and even point at stuff, kinda like having a real teacher next to you.
I've been using it the past few days to learn Davinci Resolve, 10/10.
This is home. Seen from nearly 250,000 miles away. 🌍
On April 2, 2026, NASA’s Artemis II mission captured this view of Earth through the window of the Orion spacecraft, shortly after leaving Earth orbit. This moment was made possible by advances far beyond what early space missions had.
Without modern memory and storage, this image never makes it home. Memory doesn’t just power devices. It powers the moments that make us stop — and appreciate the world we share.
Happy Earth Day. #EarthDay
From Boise to Singapore, from Manassas to Malaysia, smart manufacturing and AI keep Micron's sites at the cutting edge. Our global operations don’t just run in parallel — they learn from each other.
Smart manufacturing innovations developed in Asia accelerate U.S. fab ramp‑ups. Breakthroughs in U.S. automation strengthen performance worldwide. And AI, built on U.S. technologies, connects it all.
We’re not just making memory. We’re building the infrastructure the digital world runs on. #SmartManufacturing#AI#Semiconductors
The phrase “third world” is outdated & often seen as dismissive. It originally came from Cold War politics, not education or intelligence. Today, people usually say:
“developing countries” or refer to specific economic indicators.
When someone like Miss Patel uses that language, it can come across as broad & reductive, especially because: Countries like India have world-class institutions (like IITs), major tech hubs, and highly educated populations. I’m a recruiter & MANY/Most people who immigrate from India or parts of Africa are already highly educated, often more so than average in destination countries.
Her father is an immigrant from Uganda. She is in the United States criticizing immigrants for coming to America in large numbers from what she called third world countries, and she gives Uganda as an example. The irony did not seem to bother her at all.
Job Seekers: You need to be undeniable in a few key areas. That’s how you break through overly specific job descriptions without wasting time trying to become someone you’re not.
