@JXakc @RykerJackson97 Yeah I didn’t tell my parents that one I till I was home for a bit. I did that in April 2011 right after Bin Laden was taken out. So the terror threat was really high in Germany. I still can’t believe I did that. Haha!

@RykerJackson97 I called my mission Pres and confessed and I have never been yelled at like that in my life! Well deserved. Apparently my mission Pres had to ask the area presidency about me and the only reason why I stayed was cause I called and confessed before it went higher up.

@RykerJackson97 Made a prank call to elders in my district. Pretended to be a terrorist and if they didn’t wore me 10 million euros I would blow up their church that they lived over. Mission pres and cops and embassy was called. I almost got sent home. Yeah….. 😅

@RykerJackson97 I could do a good Russian German accent. Said I was a Chechian terrorist named Demitri. They had no idea it was me! That is the most scared I have been when I called them and they said they had called my mission pres.

@RykerJackson97 I learned a lot that night. I was in Germany in 2011, terrorist threat was high and I did that. I called them from a pay phone and then called them about 2 min later to say it was me, and in that time they called my mission pres. not good

Yes I can do BOTH easter baskets and teach my toddlers Jesus Christ’s holy week on this earth. It’s not gross, it’s not bad, it doesn’t make me a bad member of the Church. Holy hell….I didn’t realize how horrible easter baskets would be.

@TheGermanicist One of my favorite “real life” apostle stories. You forget they are every day normal guys called to the Apostleship, and though a huge honor and calling, they are still people.

That’s pretty cool. I don’t think I’ve ever had a gas station, hot dog, and it is refreshing to see an apostle get Mountain Dew (when I was a kid, my dad was obsessed with Mountain Dew), and I learned to like it a little bit in high school, but it’s been so many years since I’ve had it consistently where now I prefer Sprite or Mountain Dew (but that’s because the taps fast food restaurants I go to with my son don’t really have Mountain Dew, but they do almost always have Sprite.)
